Rosina celebrates the rituals that have always defined Italian dining—sharing food, gathering together, and making people feel at home. Inspired by these traditions, the identity combines contemporary refinement with enduring warmth, creating a brand that feels elegant without ever becoming formal.
The visual identity has been designed to express this balance across every touchpoint, from the first impression to the final course.

The Challenge
Rosina was created to establish a distinctive identity for a modern Italian restaurant that balances refinement with warmth. The challenge was to move beyond the visual clichés often associated with Italian dining and instead create a brand that felt contemporary, elegant, and timeless while remaining approachable.
The identity needed to reflect the quality of the food and hospitality, creating a cohesive experience that would feel equally at home across the restaurant, printed materials, packaging, and digital platforms.
Approach
Rather than relying on decorative elements or traditional Italian motifs, we focused on creating a visual identity built on simplicity, craftsmanship, and thoughtful detail. Every element was designed to work together, allowing the brand to communicate confidence through subtlety rather than excess.
Inspired by modern hospitality and the rituals of Italian dining, the identity creates a calm, welcoming presence that feels both elevated and authentic.

Concept Development
The symbol captures the organic movement of unfolding petals while subtly revealing the letter R, creating a mark that rewards closer observation. This hidden detail reflects the Rosina experience itself, where thoughtful craftsmanship and meaningful moments reveal themselves over time.
A refined serif wordmark complements the symbol, bringing balance, elegance, and timeless character. Paired with a restrained colour palette inspired by natural ingredients, Italian landscapes, and warm interiors, the identity creates a visual language that feels understated yet distinctive.


The Solution
The final identity combines sophisticated typography, a considered colour palette, and a flexible logo system to create a brand that is both elegant and highly adaptable.
Designed to perform across every touchpoint, the system allows Rosina to maintain a consistent presence whether applied to menus, wine lists, packaging, signage, social media, or environmental graphics.
Every component has been developed to reinforce the same core values: warmth, craftsmanship, simplicity, and timeless hospitality.
